Rescue Dogs and Their Stories

Rescue Dogs and Their Stories was a passion project years in the making, initially stemming from my love for rescue dogs, and wanting to champion the heart-breaking and often tragic stories they had to tell. 

The series began as photos, in my typical studio style portrait, wanting to showcase the vibrant personalities each and every dog had to offer. The project quickly went nationwide after a "model call" was posted on Facebook, and I became inundated with dogs with stories to tell. After a (very) hectic few months, and 53 rescue dogs later, I had a complete series of dogs from all over the UK!

I made the photos, and accompanying stories provided by their owners, into a book - titled "Rescue Dogs and Their Stories", now a best-seller sold around the UK. With a page dedicated to all the rescue charities the dogs in the book came from, and a donation to these charities with each book sold, this project truly is one of the highlights of my career.
